Creating Jewelry

We have been treasure hunters for decades starting back in our childhood when we would wake early to hit the local garage sales with mom and dad. Over the years we have gathered quite a bounty of fun and functional items. We have been using our treasures to make robots, cards, ornaments, anything we can think of.

Recently my mom and I decided to join forces to create and repurpose some

of our unique findings into one of a kind pieces of jewelry. Combining flea market treasures with my endless collection of beads seemed only natural. We thought we would share a sampling of some of our latest creations.

Above is a bracelet created from old coins that I added turquoise beads to.   On the right we used game pieces to create an Asian inspired necklace.   The black domino has a dragon on back and a bingo chip adds a little extra element to the necklace.    If we are not wearing our creations ourselves we are putting them on etsy.  We are planning on having some DIY posts that show you our process, would love to see yours.

We love to hear feedback.
