Brown Sugar Meatloaf
Meatloaf with a deliciously sweet sauce.
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (loosely packed)
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 onion, small (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 3/4 cup saltine crackers (finely crushed)
-
Preheat oven to 350F
-
Mix together brown sugar, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce in small saucepan.
-
In a mixing bowl combine remaining ingredients through crackers.
-
Shape into a loaf and place onto a 9″x9″ pan. This allows the fat to drain away from the pan.
-
Spread enough of the ketchup mixture on the top to generously cover the meatloaf. Allowing it to drop down the sides.
-
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour or until juices run clear.
